While transitioning back into the workplace after maternity leave, I supported a team of four as Events Officer, performing event administration and content creation for a programme of events. Key acheivements include:

• Diversifying audience experience, including for the International Day of Disabled People where I used accessible methods to produce pre-event information and ensured the day onsite was free of barriers or concerns through thorough risk planning and provision of onsite support. 

• Streamlining processes to reduce workload using up to date event administration methodology including big picture planning spreadsheets, utilising Microsoft forms for data collection and creating a functional and intuitive folder hierarchy. 

Supporting authors Dr Sophie Buchaillard and Dr Diana Skibniewski-Woods with social media marketing; asset creation and planning, poster design, branding, and website design and maintenance (DSW only).

Having started on property as Senior Visitor Experience Officer I was asked to support the consultancy team as Project Coordinator due to my cumulative career experience. Key achievements include:

•       Developing and delivering an improved programme of activities. Focused on meeting new and existing visitor needs through connection with nature, wildlife and Welsh heritage we created meaningful connections and ensured return visits 

•       Producing the, sustainable and brand loyal trade stand through proactive project coordination of internal and external stakeholders, supplier coordination and strategic budget management. Staffed and activated to drive membership recruitment and encourage visitation to the Wales sites and then collated an evaluative report for the Wales Directorate using collected data with clear advice on infrastructure and best practice for 2022 

I worked at RHS for just under seven years, starting as Customer Care Assistant and finishing in a leadership role as Show Manager of the Cardiff Flower Show and Special Projects Manager. 

Spoken Words & Songwriter Circle was a pilot event bringing together singer songwriter Siobhan McCrudden and local author and poet Sophie Buchaillard for a free performance of spoken word and song followed by a creative

writing workshop and open mic.

I supported the event organisation including marketing, administration, ticketing, photography, compering and event feedback compilation. 

Supporting stage operations including stage management, talent liaison, stage setting and event breakdown and onsite runner.
